And the silly things she does to keep the morning fog out of her hair.

Sometimes you need things.
To say that I've been a little sun-deprived would be an understatement. It's more like I've been summer-deprived. Jason doesn't share in my yearn for the heat and rolls his eyes a little every time I bring it up, which is often. It doesn't help that we live in the foggiest part of the city. And when I say fog, I mean FOG people. For example, on Saturday morning I went for a run in Golden Gate Park and I could barely see 10 feet in front of me. Basically, San Francisco doesn't have a summer. So on Saturday, we talked ourselves out of wine country (too far and too many drinks the night before) and talked ourselves in to Dolores Park. Oh sunny Mission neighborhood, how you taunt me with your sunny rays and 10-15 degree warmer temperatures. Dolores Park has this incredible view of the city, along with numerous gentlemen trying to sell you "special cookies', Jewish weddings, and break-dance "fighting" on any given day.
Btw, doesn't it look like Mater is cracking up in that picture? He loves his life and sunny days, too.

Tonight we ventured out to the Sanchez Art Center for Josh and Vanessa's invitation to show at the 50x50 show.

We found where Willow Ufgood lives...
It's here, Golden Gate Heights Park, where Mater and I play everyday.

Pho-Real, dawg.
The Mitchell household decided to get a little ambitious today and attempt a major culinary feat: making pho from scratch. A small apartment fire was avoided and no lives were lost, except for one innocent chicken. Pho sho. Recipe

date night
I'd heard Pizzeria Delfina was amazing so we went to find out for ourselves. It's a tiny spot in the Mission with just as many tables outside as inside. With the help of some outdoor heaters we had a lovely little sidewalk dinner. And the food... It was just as good as everyone said. The most perfect pizza crust you will ever eat.
